About Private Coaching

Fall ’26 isn’t for everyone. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Age  Middle School, High School. The age mix works incredibly well.
  • About The Students This is an eclectic group of accepting kids and parents. They are neurodivergent, quirky, and diverse in every way. All kids are 100% welcome here.
  • Commitment: Students must want to be a part of the program, and must show up.
  • Zoom: Kids must be willing and able to be on camera for important parts of the sessions. I cannot run a group with empty rectangles on a screen. This is about real humans, so you need good internet and a device with working audio and video.

What Fall ’26 is not:

I can’t make your child do anything, and I don’t micromanage to “make sure they get all their work done”. This semester will not be perfect. But when you trust the process, show up, and try to apply what you’re learning, you will see good results. Fortunately, imperfect action is what matters – it’s the persistent effort that gets results. Baby steps are everything here.

  1. Read this page to make sure it’s a good fit.
  2. Make payment. One-time payment  = $1497. Or 3 Payments = $519 x 3.
  3. You’ll get access to the UGYG Online Course, and can start the lessons at your own pace. During Fall ’26, we’ll focus on how to actually implement the UGYG strategies.
  4. I email participants with the details you need throughout the program.

For Parents who are done watching their child struggle through school.

My premium private coaching helps your child build the essential systems needed to navigate school independently — so they are not constantly overwhelm and falling behind.

  • I work with 3-5 Premium Private families at any given time.
  • Billed at $4500 / semester, or $8000 / school year.

I go above and beyond with my private clients, helping students as well as parents, giving a reliable support system that helps students get unstuck, and actually make meaningful improvements. I am someone who already understands how to help complicated kids, so you don’t have to start from scratch every time something goes wrong. I offer:

✅ Support and troubleshooting in-between sessions when real-life problems pop up.
✅ Accountability to help with follow through, rather than continuing to stay stuck.
✅ Getting to know your child on an ongoing basis, helping them create personalized Executive Function systems / skills, so they can learn to independently manage school and life.
✅Helping parents know when to step in and when to step back.

Apply – Please note that I review applications once a month, so it takes time for me to respond.

Premium Private Coaching is ongoing 1:1 private coaching where I can be responsive, and give highly personalized solutions. I go above and beyond with my private clients, helping the students and parents both.

🧠 Who is it for? Middle & High Schoolers, College Students, Young Adults who struggle to launch.

🧠 About the Parents I work with for private coaching. This is for involved parents who actively do their own “deep inner work.” This is for parents who understand the importance of the modeling they are doing for their child. Please do not request private coaching if you just want support for your child.

I started my EF coaching practice in 2010 before EF coaching was a “thing”, and many of the new coaches now use variations of the methods I pioneered. Helping kids overcome their challenges and learn how awesome they are is my passion and my life’s work.

Mentorship, private advisory

Ongoing, high-touch support for navigating the decisions, habits, systems, and bottlenecks that block your child from reaching their potential.

You don’t have to wait until our next session to get unstuck.
Your coaching relationship continues between sessions, so we can address real-life obstacles as they happen—not weeks later.

This is for you if you’re already successful—but know your ADHD is costing you more than it should.
You want a strategic partner who understands how your brain works and can help you turn insight into consistent execution.

Applications are limited.
If you’re looking for ongoing, high-touch support rather than another short-term coaching program, inquire about the private retainer.

The core problem parents ask about is, “How do I get my kid to actually build the foundational EF systems they need in order to be a successful student, independently, so I’m not their EF anymore? And what if they don’t think they need help?”

The answer: Accountability and Implementation.

  1. During this program, we’ll learn about why students often have systems that don’t work (even though they may think it’s “fine”), the specific foundational systems students actually need, and why they matter.
  2. We will implement and adapt those systems to your kids’ unique brain and learning styles.
  3. We will have the accountability needed to build things properly, finally.

My job is to increase buy-in by making it matter to the kids, making it fun, engaging, compelling, and easy enough to make good progress.

Your kid’s job (and your) is to show up and really try.

Fall '26 Schedule

🟢 Get Organized

Students will understand the exact organizational systems needed, in clear and simple terms, and will start building them out, or improving the systems they have. This includes physical systems, such as backpacks, study space, papers, as well as digital systems, such as portals, email and monitoring grades.

🟢 3 Planning and Time Management Systems

Students will build out, know how to use, and know how to maintain the 3 foundational Time Management systems I teach.

🟢 Build The Foundational Maintenance Routine

Students will have a very concrete, and realistic, method for maintaining the 10 systems they need to maintain so things stop falling apart.

🟢 Maintain, Mini DIP Overhaul, Touch Up
Sprint #1: Sunday, October 11, 5:00PM PT, 8:00PM ET, 45 min
End with Parent Q&A

Now that they know HOW to maintain, we’ll have a quicker sprint to put it into action again, so we can make sure they know how it works.

🟢 WEEKEND 5: Maintain, Big DIP Overhaul
Sprint #1: Sunday, October 25, 5:00PM PT, 8:00PM ET, 60–90 min
End with Parent Q&A

By this time, things will be getting harder to maintain, so we’re going to have a BIG action sprint to maintain – we’ll do a big overhaul to get students ready for rest of the semester.

🟢 WEEKEND 6: Hail Mary Plan
Sprint #1: Sunday, November 8, 5:00PM PT, 8:00PM ET, 60–90 min
End with Parent Q&A

Finally, at “Hail Mary time”, we’ll go over the 4 pitfalls that often completely derail students at the very end of a semester, so things don’t fall apart at the last minute. We’ll make an actual plan for how to handle this overwhelming final stretch.

⁉️ Is my child ready?

Will your child buy into this program, or will they be completely resistant? If they have some buy-in and ownership, then this might be a great match. They need to have enough buy-in to make a commitment to show up to each session, and try (it’s ok if you miss one if you get caught up with the replay). No perfection needed, but showing up on time, prepared, with you, and without distractions, is essential. If you’re the one with the buy-in, and you have to “convince” your child to show up, please do not join this program, because it will not work.

To be clear, it is your responsibility to ensure that your child and you show up on time, prepared to be present, so you can get results.

🧠 Students with Executive Function challenges have the same core problems:

They don’t have systems that work, so they can’t stay organized or manage their time independently.

They tend to become overwhelmed, get behind in classes, procrastinate and get stuck, and don’t know how to turn things around… and they often say to parents, “leave me alone, I’ve got this, I can handle it, just trust me, I promise…” even though things continue to fall apart.

Fall ’26 is a series of in-depth sessions with Seth that address these problems in ways that AI slop just can’t.

⚡️ How Sprints Work:

  1. Parents are expected to show up to Sprints with your child (you can be in different rooms/locations).
  2. At the beginning of each Sprint, I teach the students about the actions we’re going to take on that day, so they have more buy-in, I teach about the brain, about the way students resist what we’re about to do, how to overcome the resistance, about the benefits.
  3. Then I teach them everything they need to know in order to build the system, and give them a crystal clear checklist.
  4. Then we start building together! And one of the best parts, it’s me telling them, not you.
  5. Then I outline step-by-step what to do after the Sprint.

😬 What if we miss a Sprint? Missing 1 or 2 for a good reason is ok if you’re willing and able to block out time to do the Sprint Replay with your child.

⏰ Can we schedule extra time with Seth 1:1? For those who want personalized coaching with me beyond the program, you can purchase 1:1 sessions if I have times available. Just email my team and ask for the payment and schedule links, and as long as times are available, they’ll get you going. My schedule this fall will be available by mid September.

Outcomes

Grades and attitude towards school improve.

Less overwhelmed, more responsible.

Manage time better, more organized.

Better tools to get unstuck more independently.

The question isn’t, “How do we motivate my child?”

The real question is, “How do we empower students to build the EF skills necessary to do the important things in life, even if they are resistant and don’t feel motivated?”

The answer:

With Accountability

With The Right Systems and Skills

With a commitment to Showing up

With other like-minded students

My goal isn’t just to help your child build the EF skills they need to succeed. It’s also to help them feel great about themselves – so my approach places a heavy emphasis on making your child feel seen, heard, noticed, accepted, and understood.

Accountability

Your child will build the EF systems and skills  learn about the system and why it matters. Then we take action and build it, together, with accountability.

Who is Seth

I am Seth Perler, former teacher turned Executive Function Expert Nerd.

I help misunderstood kids learn how awesome they are,  while creating breakthroughs to help change their trajectory … for good.

I also teach parents and educators how to use my non-traditional, yet practical approach to helping kids boost their Executive Function.

Since 2010 I have helped thousands of people learn what works.

Parent Win

One big benefit for parents is that you’re not the one trying to convince your child about what they “should” be doing. Instead, I’m the one guiding them, in a setting that works.
