Executive Function Summit for parents?

If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you know what I’m about. I’m about helping students who struggle with this thing called executive function—especially twice-exceptional (2e) kids and kids who are struggling in school. I want to help them so they can have a better life.

Every week, I put out a vlog or a blog to help parents, teachers, and professionals by sharing unconventional thoughts, approaches, ideas, and tools for helping these kids make real progress.

As you know, if you follow me, I don’t hold back. When I teach, I try to give as much depth, insight, and practical solutions as I possibly can.

Today, I’m announcing the Executive Function Online Summit. I bought the domain ExecutiveFunctionSummit.com and created an entire online summit. It’s free to attend during the event, although there will be an option to purchase access afterward if you’d like.

For the weekend of August 23rd through August 25th, you’ll have free access to a lineup of speakers who go incredibly in-depth on issues related to executive function.

This event is specifically designed for parents. Teachers and others are welcome too, but the content is aimed directly at parents. Each speaker will be talking directly to you and diving deeply into their area of expertise.

My other goal is to make the term executive function part of everyday conversation in a meaningful way. A lot of people have heard the phrase or may casually throw it around, but they don’t necessarily understand what it really means or how powerful it is.

I want parents, teachers, and professionals to be able to talk about executive function in a way that helps us better serve children, improve their lives, and reduce many of the struggles they experience unnecessarily because the adults around them don’t fully understand executive function.
